Bring your creative ideas to life with 3D design & print! Campers will use the free Tinkercad modeling software to build their design skills and learn advanced tips & tricks as they progress through 2 or more projects per day. Projects include 3D printable trinkets made from 2D images, articulated creatures, multi-part assemblies, storytelling with characters and props, and candy molds. All 3D design skill levels and experiences will be accommodated!
We will be running our 3D printers around the clock for campers to print two of their favorite designs to take home. Tinkcad is free, and campers will keep all their designs, so they can continue working on them long after camp is over and print them with any 3D printer found at school, libraries, makerspaces, or homes.
You may register your child for only ONE of the 2 weeks of 3D Printing Camp to ensure that as many campers as possible have the opportunity to participate. Since both weeks will cover the same material, enrolling in multiple sessions would prevent another child from experiencing the camp.
